Everyone wants to know how to succeed in social media. Their R.O.I (return of investment) determines the value of success. However, after working in this industry for several years, I see the same mistakes over and over when it comes to new media. Remember the “cart before the horse” analogy? That similar scenario applies to companies trying to adopt social media marketing. Before companies can determine R.O.I. they need to figure out R.O.T (Rule of Thumb).
