Before starting her company, Andrea spent a majority of her career working in the television news industry in Birmingham. She started as an intern at NBC 13 News her sophomore year in college before moving up to a morning editor/field producer position. She spent the next year working as associate producer/producer at CBS42 news before joining FOX6 as a weekend morning producer. Andrea also produced top rated newscasts for dayside and nightside news while still attending college.
Through her experience, Andrea has formed numerous relationships with regional & national news organizations. Andrea formed her company
W. Social Marketing in February 2009. Aside from her work, Andrea is active in the Birmingham community serving on the Alabama Ballet Junior Board, Girl Scouts Leadership Circle, volunteered with YWCA, Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama and Susan G. Komen. Andrea is also a member of the Downtown Business Association & Birmingham Business Alliance.
